Fork has relaunched the international consumer website for VARTA, one of the largest manufacturers of batteries worldwide, and has been in charge of the international roll-out.

OBJECTIVE
Due to the client’s lack of traditional communication channels targeted at consumers, VARTA asked us to develop an international website including a new, reanimated CI which introduces the brand to ultimate consumers all over the world. We also realized a customized, modular Content Management System in order to simplify internationalization.

SOLUTION
Unearthing VARTA’s core strengths, such as storing power and thereby enabling mobility, Fork created a user-oriented concept based on so-called Power Zones of Music, Toys, Photo & Video and Light. We continue to deliver full-blown service – including regular editorial updates.

RESULTS
Now, all contents can be centrally developed and implemented for 24 VARTA countries worldwide. Thus, the easy maintenance of the site enables the client to generate tremendous synergies when rolling out their localized country sites – once again proving Fork’s competence in terms of international branding and quality control.
