OBJECTIVE
Whether you’re in the middle of a busy day at the office or at the play park having fun with the kids, being interrupted by a pesky headache is the very last thing you want to happen. To help communicate Aspirin Coffein’s fast and effective relief from headaches, Fork were invited to develop a digital campaign to promote and inform consumers of the product’s key benefits in a fun and playful manner.
SOLUTION
With a flip-book animation as the key metaphor, our creative concept portrayed a range of situations where the symptoms of common headaches prevented people from enjoying life’s special and everyday moments. With the headache suddenly appearing to slow down the flip-book animation, Aspirin Coffein comes to the rescue – banishing the headache and accelerating the animation to bring the character’s story to a happy end. The display campaign was accompanied by a microsite allowing consumers to personalise their own flip-book animations using facebook connect or a photo upload facility. User creations could then be shared directly with friends via popular social network bookmarks and email.
RESULTS
Promoting the Aspirin Coffein campaign with a visually engaging solution, the product’s key benefits have been effectively communicated across major German news and lifestyle portals. The campaign’s use of amusing, animated short stories have helped to inform viewers of the product launch in an entertaining fashion while allowing them to actively engage in the concept with their own personal flip-book stories.
